Cyclical Nature of Things Statement
My plan for this project is to study the constant growth and change in nature. Everyday someone or something grows and learns something new. I want to focus on Pythagorean philosophy, where the human soul continues on to a different life form when their mortal selves die, continuing to learn life's lesson and grow. Once they have learned everything they can rejoin the divine. I will use these photos to help capture the feel of growth, change, and learning.

I love this idea. I am interested to see how this manifests in am image but I really love the photos of your shadow.

I think you have a really interesting concept, and I like the shots you have of the bright lights/sun, I think that will work well representing the divine that you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteI love the sunlight and shadows on this tree. It gives me a feeling of rebirth with the tree's changing life cycle.
ReplyDeleteI think your image is going to be really interesting because of your concept. There's a lot you can do with that idea. I might be wrong but it kind of sounds like your talking about reincarnation or something similar? I think it will look really cool. The sunburst is very nice and reminds me of new life.
